HERBERT SPORTS – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will delivery take?
All orders are sent out by Royal Mail, and are usually despatched on the day they are ordered. Delivery can therefore be as quick as 2 days but can be up to 7 days. If it is going to take any longer than that we will endeavour to let you know by email.

Can I place my order by phone instead of online?
Yes, we will take orders over the phone although lines are only open within normal shop opening hours. Outside of these hours please place your order online. For phone orders please phone our sales line on 01243 839666.

I’m not sure which product to buy – can I get some advice?
Yes, during shop opening hours you can speak to an advisor on our helpline 01243 839666 or email your question to us at sales@herbertsports.co.uk

The item I have bought does not fit, or is not what I was expecting. Can I return it?
Yes, any item bought from us may be returned within 14 days for exchange or refund (postage charges will not be refunded). Please return the item in its original packaging to the address on the packing list. Your return will be processed as soon as we receive it back and any refund due will be credited to your card. Please make sure you include your name, address and order number in any correspondence.

Do you deliver to countries outside the UK?
We deliver anywhere in the world but our free delivery service only applies to addresses within mainland UK. For charges applicable to other countries please phone our helpline on 01243 839666 or email sales@herbertsports.co.uk with the delivery address and we will find out the relevant charges for you.

I am worried about card fraud. How safe is your site?
We utilise industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of credit card details so that it cannot be intercepted and read by anyone other than ourselves. When you enter the secure area of herbertsports.co.uk a padlock will appear at the bottom of the site, which indicates that the data is being encrypted.

I need my goods urgently. Do you do a 24 hour delivery service?
Yes, if you place your order with us before 1pm we can send it by Special Delivery so that your order will be with you the following day. Please note that a signature will be required for this service. Please select the 24 hour delivery option at checkout or email us with your delivery requirements at sales@herbertsports.co.uk

Can I have my order delivered to an address other than my billing address?
Yes, please fill in the “shipment address” section at checkout. Please note that we carry out random address checks to prevent fraud and may need to see proof of address before shipping your order.
